What airport do I fly into?
Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania. Group airport transfers will be arranged for arrivals and departures that align with the suggested international flights (Delta/KLM routes are recommended).
Are airport transfers included?
Yes, group transfers to and from Kilimanjaro Airport are included on scheduled arrival and departure days. If you choose to arrive earlier or stay later, private transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
Do I need a visa to travel to Tanzania?
Yes, U.S. citizens require a tourist visa for Tanzania. The visa can be obtained in advance online via Tanzania’s eVisa system or upon arrival at the airport. A valid passport with at least six months remaining before expiration and at least one blank visa page is required. The pre-departure packet also includes a visa application form.

This retreat is limited to 12 participants, plus two teachers.
Are gratuities included?
