Calm Heart in February
This meditation creates a still point at the heart center. Emotionally it adds clear perceptions to your relationships with yourself and others. If you were upset at work or upset in a personal relationship, sit in this meditation for 3-5 minutes before taking any action. Then act with your full heart. This is a perfect meditation for beginners. It opens your awareness of breath and it conditions the lungs and heart.

Sit in a comfortable position in a chair or on the floor.

Eyes are closed.

Place your left hand on the center of your chest and create a deep stillness at this point. Raise the right hand by your right side as if giving a pledge and the thumb and index finger of the right hand are touching in gyan mudra. The palm of the right hand faces forward and the elbow is relaxed near your side.
- Inhale slowly and deeply through both nostrils and then hold the breath in and retain it for as long as possible. Then exhale through the nose smoothly and when the breath is completely out, lock the breath out for as long as possible. Repeat this cycle.
- Practice for 3-5 minutes. .
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Blessings for January
The meditation fills the heart and soul with the bounties of nature. This is a very restful posture. As you practice, feel yourself showered by all the blessings of heaven: health, wealth, happiness, your ultimate caliber, and capacity.

Make your hands into cups. Press your upper arms against your ribs and bring your hands to heart level.

Go beyond words and ask for a blessing from God. Your breath will adjust itself. Meditate on the Divine flow and feel the spirit move.

The meditation provides guidance, and the way through any block. The future is clear, without anxiety. You gain wisdom and self-guidance to hold in trust all that comes to you.

Sit in a comfortable position in a chair or on the floor.

Place the elbows by the sides, with the forearms parallel to the ground. The hands are pointing forward, with the palms facing up, wrists straight. Touch the thumbs to the tips of the index finger.

Eyes are closed, looking up, focusing on the brow point.
- Chant the mantra, Har Haray Haree Wha Hay Guroo, which means "the indescribable and ecstatic experience of God's creativity and abundance."
- The breath will come automatically as you chant.
- Continue for 11-31 minutes.
- To end, inhale deeply and hold your breath as long as possible. Exhale. Repeat 2 more times.
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Soul Connection for October
The meditation is for the seventh and eighth chakras (energy centers) and will help you feel the beauty, bounty, and bliss of your own soul.

- Eyes are mostly closed and focused on the tip of the nose.
- Chant the mantra, Ang Sang Wahe Guru, which means "God is in every cell of my body."
- The breath will come automatically as you chant.
- Continue for 11-31 minutes.
- To end, inhale deeply and hold your breath as long as possible. Exhale. Repeat 2 more times.
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Power and Strength for September
The meditation called Sitali Pranayam gives power, strength, and vitality. It can have a cooling, cleansing effect. Initially,the tongue tastes bitter, and will eventually become sweet.

Sit in a comfortable position in a chair or on the floor.

Hands rest on the knees with the thumb and index fingers pressed together.
- Focus the closed eyes at the brow point.
- Roll the tongue into a "U," with the tip just outside the lips.
- Inhale deeply through the rolled tongue, exhale through the nose.
- Continue for 3 minutes.
- Alternatively, you can practice this for 26 times in the morning and 26 times in the evening. 108 repetitions is a deep meditation and a powerful healer for the body and digestive system.
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Mental and Emotional Balance for August
The meditation called Kirtan Kriya brings a total balance to the individual psyche. Practicing this meditation is both a science and an art. It is an art in the way it molds consciousness and in the refinement of sensation and insight it produces. It is a science in the tested certainty of the results each technique produces. This meditation helps break any habit and helps achieve a brilliant internal balance.

Sit in a comfortable position in a chair or on the floor.
- Focus the eyes at the tip of the nose, through eyes 9/10th closed.
- Chant the mantra SAA, TAA, NAA, MAA.
- The mantra means SAA (infinity, cosmos), TAA (life, existence), NAA (death, change), MAA (rebirth). This is the cycle of Creation. From the infinite comes life and individual existence. From life comes death or change. From death comes the rebirth of consciousness to the joy of the infinite through which compassion leads back to life.
- Each repetition of the mantra takes 3-4 seconds
- On SAA, touch the index finger, on TAA touch the middle finger, on NAA touch the sun finger, on MAA touch the pinky finger.
- Length of time: Chant in a normal voice for 3 minutes, Chant in a whisper for 3 minutes, Vibrate the sound silently for 6 minutes, Chant in a whisper for 3 minutes, Chant in a normal voice for 3 minutes.
- The entire meditation will take 18 minutes.
- To end follow with one minute of silent prayer. Then inhale, exhale. Stretch the spine, with hands up as far as possible; spread the fingers wide, taking several deep breaths. Relax.
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Prosperity Meditation for July
This meditation stimulates the mind, the moon center and jupiter. When jupiter and the moon come together, there is no way in the world you will not create wealth. Practice this meditation for 3-31 minutes.

Sit in a comfortable position in a chair or on the floor.
- Focus the eyes at the tip of the nose, through eyes 9/10th closed.
- Hit the sides of the hands together alternately.
- The pinky fingers and the mounds (located on the bottom of the palms) hit when the palms face up.
- The pinky fingers hit, and the thumbs hit under the hands when the palms face down.
- Chant the mantra Har (pronounced Hur). Chant continuously from the navel.
- Har means the infinite creative energy.
- End the meditation by chanting Sat Nam, which means "I am truth, truth is my essence."

Smiling Meditation for June
When we smile we relax hundreds of muscles in our bodies. A positive message is sent to the mind and we actually feel calmer, happier, and more at peace. Practice this meditation for 3-11 minutes to feel recharged and refreshed.

Exhale through the nose and mentally say, "Because I am." Image you are expelling all negativity.
